Yusuke was dead when the series started off, though the first story arc focused on him earning his resurrection (as his death surprised the Powers That Be). Towards the end of the series, he died again, only to come back on his own, this time thanks to his latent demonic heritage, which REALLY surprised everyone. If the first incident didn't violate the law of death, the second almost certainly does. Advantage goes to Lord Foul...

Oh. Derp.

Lord Foul

I actually don't buy it. Revival =/= undeath after all.

The main example of it happening is when someone tried to call for a dead guy to be brought back to help fight the war. He came back, told her she should banish him immediately before Foul caught on, and then Foul took control of him (from a continent's length away, even). Didn't come back as a standard "come back in your exact body" revival (he was basically a giant magical shape), but then Foul himself brought someone back in that kind of way to control her. It's less about being undead and more about having come back from the dead.
