I already have Sanctum. I have a hard time convincing myself to a purchase where I end up with a "second" copy of something.

Sanctum's only a tower defense game if you insist on calling it that. Yes, you set up stuff to block the enemy, but you also gun them down. You can play levels almost exclusively by going FPS on them. It definitely puts a different twist on games like, say, Defense Grid.
