I've known plenty of butch lesbians who were happy being female.
I've come across at least a few femme lesbians (we're talking high heels, dresses, and makeup) who subsequently decided they were transmen and started taking testosterone.
For that matter, a friend of mine from San Francisco (butch lesbian gone transman) was complaining that he's the only transman he knows who watches sports.
If anything, it's way, way less connected to societal gender roles than I would have expected before actually talking to people.
it might be, but im not sure how ur experiences show anything. If the butch lesbian is happy being a female, then shes not a transgender. So they dont apply.
And the femme lesbians youve encountered that decided they were ftm transgendered started taking testosterone. Yet i bet they stopped wearing high heels and dresses.
Just because you at one point dressed the stereotypical opposite gender but were happy as your current gender doesnt mean anything.
