Gustavo and friends march into the Gandor place to find only the 3 Gandor brothers calmly playing cards. He’s surprised to see Luck, because he’s supposed to be dead. Gustavo accuses Luck of taking Eve Genoard, and before he can deny, Eve (who was in hiding with Elean and Chick) runs out and says that that isn’t true. Gustavo says he has all of the proof he needs and shoots Luck in the head. Gustavo starts to gloat and Eve is mortified. Luck regenerates, much to Gustavo’s chagrin. Everybody is shocked and stuff, and Luck punches Gustavo in the face.
Isaac and Miria are disappointed that the box they stole only contained liquor. They get over it quickly, however, and start getting pumped for their next heist: stealing from the Martello family. They walk down the street, chanting “Martello! Martello! We’ll get dough from Martello!” Mind you, this is the middle of the night, and they’re being incredibly loud. Ennis isn’t very far away, so she overhears them. Anyways, they walk into a jewelry store dressed up as religious people. They say the “password”, so the suspicious shopkeeper lady takes them to a secret door that leads them to an elegant dancing hall. Isaac reminds Miria to act natural. Ennis also manages to find her way in, and the first things she sees are Isaac and Miria running around a table, being as unnatural as possible.
Isaac and Miria find a secret room, with little holes in the floor. The waitress (who looks like Chun-Li) yells at them and rushes at them. Chun-Li has so much momentum that she runs into Isaac, and her bosoms violently smash into Isaac’s face. Downstairs, we see Firo’s initiation ceremony and holy crap I see where this is going. The head guy fires the gun up in celebration (explaining all of the holes in the floor/ceiling) and then we hear Miria scream. Chun-Li runs downstairs and says there’s a problem. Firo (hey, haven’t seen him in a while!) and Maiza run upstairs to see Miria crying over Isaac, who was shot. Miria is having a breakdown, though Isaac seems to be doing pretty well for a guy who just got shot. Firo recognizes them as the people who bumped into them at the store earlier, and apologizes because he didn’t know that Isaac was a priest and Miria was a nun. No one is really taking any urgent action to help Isaac. Like, what are you guys waiting for? Casual conversation isn’t going to stop the blood loss, you know. Anyways, Ennis witnesses this whole scene, and possibly recognizes Firo from the scene at the fire.
Whew, that episode was a doozy.
