The hostility isn't really a big deal if you don't take "this band sucks" as a personal attack, because it's generally not meant as one and if you don't get pissed off you fit in fine. Great place for finding out about stuff.
I'm talking about actual trolling, I don't care if they think bands I like sucks. For example, one time I posted about an excellent Eluveitie (with 3 Inches of Blood and Holy Grail) concert I went to. The trolls who frequent the board decided to hijack the thread and make it a post what car you drive thread. Which you participated in by the way. Just one example. Long story short, garbage board, I don't post there.
