"Oh, um, well, this is just conjecture, but... it appears that this new emperor has the unusual ability to shift forms as he likes. Look at this part, Captain, as he notices and talks to you." Yuri looks at the footage again, and his initial hunch was right, the emperor did get bigger during his talk. "However, if he could change form as he likes... then why didn't he change back into the form that allowed him to fight using the blade perfectly? At this point, I would guess that if you kill one form, it's impossible to change into that form again."
"So we can kill it then?" Torlo sounded oddly enthusiastic. "Then let's get back and finish him off once and for all!"
"I'm not sure if that's wise, because so far, we've seen three forms, and Captain Yuri and HELP managed to kill two... but we have no way of knowing if he's limited to just those 3 forms, or if he has a lot more to access. What if had access to a thousand forms? What if each of the other forms was even more dangerous than this electric form? We can't risk our men against a threat like that." After explaining it to Torlo, Alik shifted his attention to the chart once again.
"Well, what are we supposed to against that thing then? Just give up?"
"I never said that. What I suggest is that instead we destroy the Nehalenia utterly" Alik then looked back to Yuri. "Captain, we have to use our high Stream Blasters on it. If we use it, it will either disintegrate the emperor completely, negating his regeneration, or if he can form himself again from nothing, he most likely won't be able to survive in the void of space."
Yuri just stared at his 1st Officer. To think that the shy, mousy little boy would grow up to be such a calm and confident man against an enemy beyond their imagination. He smiled. "Alright, we'll do it your way. Control operators, you heard the man, relay our strategy to the other ships! Helmsman, turn around and prepare for ship-to-ship combat! Fighter squadrons, keep the enemy occupied!" The crew scrambled into position, and once again, Yuri focuses his attention back towards the battle in space.
Like a well-oiled machine, Yuri's fleet fought back as if they were one entity, moving in sync, making short work of what was left of the emperor's fleet. Even though the emperor's revival meant the fleet was no longer easy opponents, the damage Yuri's fleet has caused is too much to overcome. Until finally...
"FINAL ROAR!" All the ships and fighters fired at the same time, hitting their targets where the shields are weakest, destroying them all at the same time. Except for one ship. "Heh, so he's not only good at swordfights, then." Looking at the screen, Yuri could see that the enemy's flagship wasn't damaged badly, just a glancing blow here and there. "But now that you don't have any shield and portal ships with you... all we have to do is charge our-"
"HOW DARE YOU!" A girl's voice can be heard across the ships in Yuri's fleet, and a forced communication screen appeared. The emperor in the brown-haired girl form is addressing them. "YOU REFUSE TO SUBMIT, AND NOW YOU HAVE DESTROYED MY FLEET! I HAVE NO MORE NEED OF YOUR POWERS! I WILL DESTROY YOU, DO YOU HEAR ME YURI? I WILL DESTROY YOU! SURRENDER TO YOUR INEVITABLE DESTRUCTION!"
"No can do, I've got two women who made me promise to never give up." Yuri glanced and saw the status on his other ships, and they've finished charging. In fact, they fired at the same time, in a formation that's impossible for the enemy flagship to evade from. "Great minds think alike".
"DEATH WILL NOT STOP ME! I AM ETERNAL! THA SINN LUGOVALOS! THA SINN AN SÍO-"
