The forced communication screen disappeared. "You know, I'm still not sure how he did that, Captain. Seems impossible, but then again, he displayed impossible abilities" After that comment, Alik returned to his post and checked the status on the other ships. "Well, the damage wasn't too bad, but I suggest that we head back to planet Earth and- WHAT THE GRUS?"
Indeed, Yuri thought, as he saw the screen displaying what was supposed to be nothing where the emperor's flagship was. What the Grus indeed.

"A dragon." Cico's tone annoyed Yuri. "You're asking me if I knew any heir to the throne that can turn into a dragon."
"You know I'm not kidding, I already showed you the footage that showed it happen. So yes, I am asking you that."
At that point Cicolluis Maponos Lugus, the rightful heir to the throne of Lugovalos, and leading authority over the newly re-colonized planet Earth, burst out laughing, slamming the tavern's desk all the while. Meanwhile, his aid, Ian, was covering his face with his right palm. That annoyed Yuri even more.
"Well, if you're going to be an ass about it, I'll just leave" Yuri stood up from his chair, and started to turn when-
"Oh, come back, I was just kidding. You have to admit, that was a ridiculous question." Yuri agrees. The entire thing is ridiculous. "Anyway, I don't know whether he had shapeshifting powers or not, but from what I saw of his blade skills, it's most likely the 10th heir. Forgot his name. He's the best sword fighter from Lugovalos, actually. He even beat my old man in a duel once." Yuri tried to picture Taranis losing in a man-to-man combat. Nope, not seeing it. "But I hear he was excommunicated and exiled because of an... incident."
Well, that made Yuri curious. "What incident?"
"Do I look like the type to reveal shameful royal family secrets?" Yuri just looked at him. "Well, I suppose I can tell you, no such thing as Lugovalos anymore. Just Earth." With that, Cico looked outside the tavern, and Yuri did the same. He saw the Terraforming project dome surrounding the small city. "You know, you guys lucked out with having professor Minas on your side. This is nothing short of a miracle. Anyway," Cico turned to look at Yuri again, "it happened before I returned from my romp through space. He was sent to watch over one of the sectors named Alzernia," Alzernia? That sounded familiar to Yuri, but from where? " and apparently, he was a cruel ruler to anyone who didn't have a shred of Lugovalian blood in them. My dad would have none of that when he got wind of it, so he promptly kicked his ass up and down the palace there. Guess dad wasn't fighting seriously when he lost." Now that Yuri can believe.
"But he never showed any signs of... what's the word... were-dragon-ism? Electrical powers? Shapeshifting?" Even before the words came out of his mouth, he knew that was a ridiculous thing to say. Cico just shrugged, and turned to Ian.
"Yo, Ian, can you check the database on the heirs?" Ian sighed, then promptly left the tavern. Cico stood up. "Well, sorry we can't be of much help to you, but we'll keep you updated if we have any new information from my ship's database. In the mean time, I'll have increase the military budget... well, if you can call it a budget, and have Lord Roth prepare a defense if we find any other hostile survivors of that Overlord disaster. Oh, that reminds me, he wanted to give you that letter." Cico hands a small envelope to Yuri "Well, see ya when I'll see ya" Cico then leaves the tavern, after tipping the bartender Radimir, and leaves Yuri alone with his thoughts.
