"S-sir! We-uh- we believe that the Subject has successfully perfected the particle accelerator, and, um, he accidentally activated it when he touched the button, and uh, he is now currently in another dimension. At best, and even then. At worst, he and accelerator were destroyed instantly."
"ARE YOU TELLING ME", the scientist recoiled at the captain's suddenly approaching face. "THAT NOT ONLY HAVE WE LOST AN IRREPLACEABLE EQUIPMENT, BUT WE MAY HAVE ALSO LOST SUBJECT WAR MIND?"
"W-well, like I've s-said, it's just the worst case scenario, an-"
"CAPTAIN! AN URGENT REPORT SIR!"
Whatever the scientist had to say was interrupted when a soldier suddenly burst into the room.
"SIR! An urgent report from the men sent to capture The Fireflies... they... there's reports coming in from all our soldiers that they've started to become organized, as if they're following orders!"
"WHAT? Impossible. It was just eight hours ago that the incident happened! Of all the worst things that could- which country is in control over them?"
"That's just it sir, it isn't any one country, it's one of the Fireflies themselves. In fact, if what the soldiers' are saying is true, the one in charge is... is.."
"IS WHAT? SPIT IT OUT, SOLDIER!"
"A l-little girl, sir!"

Dark Lightning dropped to his knees. Who was this girl?
This costumed girl appeared out of nowhere, and spouted some nonsense at the top of her voice about not feeling sadness, crying all the time. Oh, and she also kicked his ass with his same powers. Well, not exactly the same powers. I mean, Dark's powers were dark electricity, which automatically made it more awesome by a factor of 14 billion. And he was winning. Until these other party crashers attacked him out of the blue. He counted at least 10 helpers. One of them even drained his powers. Temporarily, he hoped. They're all forcing him down, though.
The girl is getting closer now. Now that he's not distracted, he could see that it's not a costume exactly, but more like a school uniform with other clothing added on top of it to cover the whole body. Including that odd mask of a children's mascot. He never knew of a school with a crudely drawn picture of an eye drawn right on the chest, however. The girl is right in front of him now. The girl slowly lifted Dark Lightning's face, and she opens her mask, and- why does she look so sad?
"Surrender your will and feel only bliss... surrender to the Eternal Eye"
And then a shock... and a feeling that could only be called... contentment.
The girl released her hold on Dark Lightning, and put her mask back on.
"We have to make everyone join. We have to prevent people experience sorrow ever again."
Suddenly, the girl seemed to grow taller. Then when her voice spoke next, a different voice answered.
"I see it... the next person we should go for. She should join next."
With that, the girl returned to her normal size, and turned to leave, her unusual entourage following her. Dark Lightning was among them. And as the scene zooms out, even more people are joining her, some with other captive people with powers. The small girl lifted her hands in a welcoming gesture
"Welcome, friends! Join us, join the Eternal Eye, and know unending happiness!"
