God, I completely agree with you that the whole "you have to come out because it is OK" is stupid. One of my biggest problems with glee, besides the horrible writing, was that the messages it tried to send were just....awful. I dunno if young people who watch that show are eating this **** up and agreeing with it, but I sure hope not.
And literally almost every ****ing person I know has done the whole "DID YOU ALWAYS KNOW YOU WERE GAY?" crap. Like, I dunno, did you always know you were a nosy little *****? And I really get pissed at people who say the whole "I don't care if someone is gay but I am mad that they didn't tell me about it" routine. Like, whatever, I can only forgive these people because they just have a profound lack of understanding for the situation. How self involved do you have to be to actually make it about you like that?
I mean, I know this all comes from just a profound lack of understanding of the situation from viewing it from outside, but **** being reasonable, this stuff pisses me off. Glee sucks, peace.
