They did pretty well this time. 100% looted the dungeon as far as I know (by accident though!), actually stopped at a store to max out everyone's equipment, and had appropriate reactions to the desolate future.
Eh... they still failed to notice that Lucca's Flame Toss is even a thing. I'm not even that mad that they're bad at the game... I just get annoyed seeing between the two of them, they still don't know ANYTHING about RPGs. Even when looking at new equipment they compared the new piece to the old one (not the currently equipped) and made a comment about how big the increase was, that kind of stuff just annoys the hell out of me for some reason. Not to mention they don't pay attention to any of the text... everything in this game is hinted at beforehand. There really aren't any surprises.
I guess it's just a good thing they're playing a game this easy. I don't even want to think of how it would have went if they had chosen one of the early FFs... Or like... any other RPG.
