It's May-juss for me, but close enough.
As for the SNES thing, I've used all three of SNES, S-N-E-S and Super Nintendo, so I've got no dog in that fight.
Mar-lee is just gross and doesn't make sense if you speak English. If you're that intent on pronouncing the "e" I'd say the only other acceptable form of pronunciation would be "Mar-luh" which is consistent with a ton of Germanic languages.
