You're right it's a big media coverup. Crazed gunmen get taken down by citizen shooters all the time but THE MEDIA makes you think it never happens.
No, I'm saying that maybe someone breaks into someone's house or tries to mug someone but they pull a gun on them and the confrontation is dispelled, and of course there is no story about that because it's boring.
