It was a 15-minute 2-on-1 no disqualification assault. Not sure how many more of those Cena has had to deal with. And Miz/Riley aren't great or anything, but put weapons in their hands...yeah, that seemed a pretty fair pick to me.

To a lesser extent, those matches early in Cena's very first reign when Eric Bischoff and Daivari (I think?) were special refs on behalf of Jericho and Kurt Angle.
WM22 and 23 against HHH and HBK respectively. Didn't he make both of them tap too?
Probably some others that I myself am forgetting.
I dunno, it's not a big deal. I just can't see the credibility in the Miz/Riley duo, thinking about it in kayfabe. Riley was the definition of a jobber lackey at the time (he lost practically every single match he was in), and Miz's prior title reign was centered around the fact that he was a joke champion that definitely couldn't hang with the upper tier of wrestlers (I mean, he could barely deal with Jerry Lawler, needing constant interference from Riley and even Michael Cole to defend his title). Even 2 vs 1, I didn't buy for a second that Miz had an iota of a chance in an I Quit match with Cena.
I guess I'll just chalk it up to difference in opinion, or perhaps it being more recent in people's memories. Oh well XD
