My freebie finally clocked in. Had to go into TF2 and access the backpack, then close the game, that made it appear.
Seems my freebie was two lumps of coal. Originally, my plan was to craft these buggers, but some folks on /v/ crafted tons and tons of coal and got nothing but coupons. Maybe it's better just to save it up for that one in a bazillion chance. >_>
