have fun with no running shoes, 20 inventory slots for all your items, and having to select HMs from your Pokémon tab each time you want to surf again or something
also make sure to pick up the town map so it can take up an inventory slot and never be able to be thrown away
The only actually legit reason to play the originals is the music as far as I'm concerned. That's the one thing Fr/Lg dropped the ball on, and also something I frankly can't believe Gamefreak actually included in GSC based on their historically questionable design decisions. ...even if it sucked that you couldn't get it till you beat the game.
