Well they laid the ground work for Kane moving on with Cena delivering perhaps the most nonsensical line of the entire year, the "if last week was an accident that's totally cool!" thing <_< Kane just has to ignore him from now on and Cena will assume the chokeslam was just an overly enthusiastic hug and the second beating was just self defense he brought on himself by assaulting the guy who clearly just wanted to come into the ring and shake his hand.
It's like I said in the chat (I think): under the red lights, under two masks, still seeing light trails from his entrance flames, Kane obviously thought he was chokeslamming Darren Young.
