Phoenix/Iris is nice, but here I was, thinking you were talking about Godot's speech. Or even better, Phoenix and Godot sharing drinks.
This is also good, but Phoenix and Iris talking to each other at the end is the most emotional part of the case for me. Maybe the most emotional part of the series, honestly. The end of 2-4 comes close there, but that's it.
I don't really think Phoenix/Maya is a very good pairing, and nothing in the game really points to it other than Pearl wanting them to end up together to fulfill her fairy tale fantasy love.
