Phoenix and Apollo are both pretty sarcastic and uptight in a lot of their inner monologue (such as getting upset at Maya/Trucy for suggesting doing something illegal or immoral). They're very "by the book," which is to be expected since they're lawyers.
The content of their inner monologue is usually pretty different though.
