I actually only played it for the first time ever last night. I was pretty tipsy, granted, but oh so very impressed.
Cool 2D implementation. Intriguing battle system. The comfort and feel of Star Ocean 2's musical oomph and vivid interface. Fun item creation. Unique plot. Female protagonist that isn't a complete whore.
I was enamored.
