I've always wanted to try Culdcept, but I don't have a PS2 anymore and apparently all of the other titles are JP only. That seems to be true of pretty much every game in the genre -- it's JP only since the games don't do well in US markets. The only other title that comes to mind is Top Shop which is neat, but bugged to all hell. Plus matches take absolutely forever.
There is Culdcept Saga on 360 and I "think" it's on PS2 but not sure. I own the 360 one and while it is a lot of fun the online is pretty much dead on it so you'd more than likely need to know others who have it to get any online games going.
