But, no on ever thinks of how f***ed up it is to give other people present on your birthday. I was thinking about this last night, being born on Christmas day actually wasn't bad(for me at least,) I have always been a quality over quantity person, that extends to presents as well. I always asked for one good present and let my parents come up with the other stuff, so I would get a decent amount of your standard presents, and then one or two really good presents that most people have to buy for themselves, and if you were a kid only the spoiled or rich kids got.

The other thing is that since that is all I have ever know, I have nothing to compare it to, so I can't really say whether I would have got more presents, but is still much rather have one or two quality presents over ten everyday s***.

Anyway, back to my main point, take your birthday, say it's June 9th, would you give other people presents on your birthday? 99% at least would not. For the first 18-19 years of ny life, I felt like this and refused to buy other people Christmas presents. I'm turning 30 tomorrow, and I have to say I am happy that I no longer think like that. I find it more enjoyable to grant other people some small piece of happiness most of the time, also since I have a bad habit of buying everything I would want for Christmas or my birthday myself.

Oh well, enjoy this Christmas everyone, if the Mayans are correct, it'll be out last one.
