I am kind of ambivalent on the whole thing. I mean this situation hasnt really existed since Bret, but back then ALL of the fanbase wasturning against his boyscout truly good guy character. But now, Cena is the only one of those the company has aside from Bryan (and lets get real if cena turns DANIEL "third fiddle in the feud over my OWN title" BRYAN isnt gonna replace him).
I struggle to see who plays the good guy for the kids in the absence of a good guy straigtlaced Cena. That said I DO think thats where this is headed- a cena who is a bit more intense and in touch with the rougher past version of himself- as foreshadowed by the rapping last time Rock wasaround.
