And actually there are a crapload of "former World Champions" on the WWE roster now. In the last two years alone they've given first-time titles to Sheamus, Swagger, Miz, Dolph, ADR, Henry, and now Bryan.
Well, this is obviously subjective, but I would say most of TNA's former champions are a lot more credible than most of WWE's former champions. Of all the guys you just listed, the only ones who were actually credible and stayed ME for any relevant amount of time are Sheamus and Henry. I feel like TNA has done a pretty good job of not giving belts to people then taking them right away without any major accomplishments. Probably because they don't have MITB.
