Tbh I'm inclined to agree there, MM is my favorite Zelda and I don't really entirely get the love for Stone Tower; it's good but not >that< good. Too much playing that song. I also may be influenced by the fact that I've never done it without trying to get all the faeries in the same run. Though I'd still put it ahead of Snowhead.
I find Earth WW and Tower of the Gods being so high compared to the other dungeons to pretty weird too; Tower of the Gods has a great atmosphere and a great ending but the combo of being forced to boat around and playing that mind control song so much stops it from being my favorite in WW, and Earth.... mind control, carrying Medli around constantly, Floormasters... the only good part were some cool Mirror Shield puzzles.
