I just now realized that the year that Rice had 22 TD receptions was when he missed 4 games.
At the ages of 39 and 40, Rice put up back-to-back 80+ reception, 1100+ yd, 7+ TD seasons. That is insane
My favorite fun fact:
Jerry Rice is only one of two players in NFL history to have a reception at the age of 40 or older.
The other is Brett Favre.
