This movie is going to flop. But it'll probably be better than Toby's and won't get the due credit. At least it looks more serious and less gimmicky.
Now, call me Doc Brown, but I've been to the future and this movie makes over 500 million easy. It's Spider-Man, everybody is taking every kid to see it, every teen is seeing it, every adult who likes superheroes will see it, and it's gonna have marketing up the wazzoo.
It does look more serious, for me that's not a good or bad thing, not sure how the other movies would be considered gimmicky, or what that'd even mean in the context of a straightforward movie plot.
