I am predicting HAGAKURE as the mole. His reactions frequently don't really line up with those of an innocent (I had him as the culprit for a lot of chapter 2 >_>) and we don't really have much reason to believe he's actually any good at fortune telling, so he doesn't really fit. Then again, we don't even KNOW what Kirigiri's deal is, but I feel like her being the mole would be too obvious and cliche.
I kinda wonder if this might be a thing where you actually are getting all the murders wrong. I feel like there was another thing that did that, but either I'm wrong or it's spoilers so I won't say. Still, I feel like the evidence against our two murderers so far could MAYBE leave some wiggle room for somebody else entirely to have done it. Somebody else could've written LEON, and Mondo straight up doesn't actually remember the actual murder. I highly doubt this is the actual case, but it is my pet crackpot theory until proven otherwise.
I am guessing they are in the future. This and a memory wipe would explain both how they managed to knock him out IMMEDIATELY, the picture, how the setting changed, how there may or may not be efforts to help them, the letter on the desk, the videos, SPEAR THE GUNGNIR, and the implication that the outside world is falling apart.
On that note, I am going to go out on a limb and postulate that the sum of money Monobear offered these days amounts to about a cup of coffee if that much, because hyper-inflation or apocalypse or some such. So much despair~
I...really don't know who dies now. Half the cast is the "obvious" choice.
-Syo and Togami should have gigantic "self-defense" targets on them now, and I think the serial killer dying before killing anybody would be an interesting twist in the spirit of the game. That and Togami's asking for it with his whole solo routine.
-Ishimaru is a ludicrously easy target in his current state. Characters who BSoD like he has rarely live very long in this kinda thing.
-Hifumi has been getting the same kinda exposition that they've been giving people right before they kick it, and is probably an easy target.
-Aoi is too spacey to have a high survival rate unless we are getting more fanservice out of it.
-Naegi and Kirigiri are too smart to live, and a smart murderer should know that. Kirigiri's asking for it, practically, although I think she'll be okay.
-Sakura could easily die protecting Aoi or something, and she's also a threat to any potential murderers.
-If Hagakure is NOT going to turn heel, I can't see him surviving much longer with how dopey he is.
-Celes...I can't think of any reason for her to die, and that is almost a reason in itself >_>
All of them could be killers, too.
And Chihirobo is gonna get murderized soon, I'm sure of it. D:
