It seems like in too many games, there's always racism written into the game. And it's always presented as if it's original and new and interesting, when it's anything but. The worst part of it is when it's with aliens or other species and stuff. It isn't clever just because you have aliens or catpeople or anything else. It's lame. It doesn't make me go "Oh, how deep of a story" or "What good storytelling!" It just makes me go "Oh, so we're going to listen to this again."
The thing that bugs me the most is that it's never actual race issues. It's this fantastical crap that is supposed to substitute it. At this point, I'd find racism between ethnicity even more fresh in comparison!
It's all the same and it sucks, and I'm tired of it being in so many games I've been playing recently. Does anyone else think it's super lame and uninteresting?
