guess i'm due for some more stuff that i've been lazy on posting. especially as there's more NEW stuff. the good stuff will have to wait until i'm home so i can properly youtube the songs (it's been long enough, if it ain't on youtube by now somebody messed up).
Another ED: anamnesis
2/2 split.
anamnesis -....this song sounds like it came out of Guilty Crown. O_o this is a compliment, but confuses me nonetheless. looked up the singer, Annabel, to find out that she did the ED for CANAAN and the 9th ED for Katanagatari. so apparently i've heard her sing before, just not often. as for the song it's... just really slow paced, steady. Nothing really special great on it but it's very soothing to hear. thing is i completely didn't care for that kind of 'soothing' so it ends up being dead middle. 5/10
closed world -style change. soft song to something more rockish. fairly enjoyable too. special? not really. 6/10

Amagami SS+ ED: Kokuhakuj
1st ED of the show. 3 songs, 1 instrumental. Unusual! anime only has used 1 ED thus far. Disappointing!
Kokuhaku -Slowly sway to the beat. Take a nap because it's borderline a lullaby. Wake up thinking to yourself, 'hey wait a sec. This one actually wasn't that great!' 'cause it's not. it's not really something I'd call good, just a passable tune that you *can* listen to, but won't make you care about it in the least. 5/10
Anata no Tame ni -Now this one's more like it. Instead of the usual 'the ED is good, the other's mediocre' we get treated to 'the ED is mediocre, the other's good.' 7/10
Rainco Rainbow -and instead of the typical 2 songs, 1 instrumental, 1 drama cd esqued track we've got 3 songs. this one's clearly not a style she's used to doing much and that ain't a bad thing because it's not a good song either. 4/ 10.

Papa Koto OP: Happy Girls
2/2 split.
Happy Girl -first off i already knew that this was going to be like the ED was in that i am going to like this for more right than it should deserve. then again i kinda enjoy this song already, despite its stupid engrish of HAPPY HAPPY GIRL! HAPPY HAPPY GIRL! ...thankfully though this isn't as good as the ED. i kinda like it, it's certainly something that on the occasion i might want to hear for some bizarre reason, but it's not something i'd go for a lot. certainly listenable. but nothing to write home about. and though it followed pop conventions, the bridge wasn't all that, so this (mercifully) gets a 6/10.
Kokoro no Rhythm -this is a pretty normal jpop song actually. if it wasn't on this album i'd never be able to tell that it came from Papa Koto. i like it. it's better than happy girl, but still isn't enough to break into the 'this is good stuff' tier. 6.5/10
