and if blood spurting is the worst you're gonna take, stay far away from deadman wonderland. the main cast is a group of people who manipulate their own blood, the plot starts with them being pitted against one another, gladiator style. the lead shoots blood bullets, another character uses blood-whip/blood blades, and one of them makes blood bombs. naturally the blood has to be extracted to do all that. pretty much, in every episode there's a lot of blood going around as that's quite literally how their powers work.
though remember: bleach's ability for every character to have more blood than an SUV's oil tank is just excessive blood. what you really need to worry about is selective bleeding. shows that don't house as much but focus on large yet realistic amounts coupled with creepier settings. those are the ones that'll get you good.
