NEWSWIRE

-Impact scored an impressive 78 thanks in no small part to an Angle/Devon barnburner.

-RCW has picked up Disco Inferno, presumably for some sort of backstage role.

-Michael Hayes continues to accumulate backstage heat, apparently taking a rib of Randy Orton a bit too far.

Pre-show: Rock hosts a bikini contest (68); Mordecai d. Zeke (55); CENA shows up to hear Rock’s response to his invitation! (92)

-Match: Orton v. Bryan v. Chavo v. Barrett
We have two Survivor Series matches rolled into one tonight, and somehow, despite it being booked in kayfabe by Teddy Long and in reality by Tombolo, it’s NOT a tag match! All four men get their spots in a heated brawl. An RKO sends Barrett out of the ring, but Chavo hits a beautiful top rope missile dropkick on Orton! He covers, but only gets two before Bryan breaks up the pinfall. Bryan clotheslines Chavo over the top, but turns into an RKO....but slips out! Bryan grabs Orton from behind and hits a suplex....and does a kicky thing...wait a second, he’s using the Three Amigos! Bryan totally rips off Chavo’s finisher, and gets a three count with it, on Randy Orton no less!
Rating: 70

-Bryan looks pretty pleased with himself, but has no time to say YES before getting blindsided by a furious Chavo! Chavo hits some offense and then locks in the LaBelle Lock!

-Match: Tajiri v. Husky
Sadly, this is Tajiri’s last match with us for the time being at least, and thus he is fated to get squashed particularly hard this time.

-Match: Yoshi v. Brodus
Brodus tosses Yoshi around like a rag doll, but Yoshi manages to hang on until opportunity presents itself to win with a ROLLUP!
Rating: 60

-Cody is not at all impressed by Yoshi. Yoshi won with a freakin’ rollup! Cody’s upcoming win will be MUCH more impressive.
Rating: 69

-Match: Usos v. Cody
The IC champ does indeed look impressive as he gets a handicap win over the poor Usos.

-Haas wants to explain something. He’s a tag team specialist. He may not have his partner of choice with him this time, but he’s still the world’s greatest tag team wrestler, and once he finds a suitable partner, he’s going after the tag titles! Hopefully tonight will go well.

-Match: Hart Dynasty v. Hass and Young
Nope.

-HHH is backstage with Taker! HHH knows he and Taker don’t really see eye to eye after the whole trying to kill each other at Wrestlemania thing. However, there’s something afoot bigger than even either of them. This Sunday, the fate of the entire WWE hangs in the balance, and Undertaker is the one sob tough enough to fill out the Team WWE roster! Is he going to stand idly by and let Laurinitis and Awesome Truth and the nWo run roughshod over this company? Is he going to stand for this and let a bunch of young upstarts take over the place? Is he going to take that from them? Taker glares menacingly at HHH before quietly proclaiming that they will Rest In Peace.

-Match: Cara/AJ v. Carlito/Natalya
Pretty back and forth match, but some Sin Cara II interference turns into the deciding factor.
