-Survivor Series Match for Control of the WWE: Team WWE (HHH/Cena/Rock/Taker/Morrison) v. Team Laurinitis (Punk/Miz/Truth/Nash/Masters)
Despite the impressive resume of the face team, it’s clear that there are some synergy problems- Cena and Rock in particular spend most of the match bickering, allowing the well-oiled heel machine to get a leg up in the early stages despite their inferior plot armor. The match very quickly descends into an allout brawl, with referee Scott Armstrong losing control. This is punctuated by Morrison taking a SICK Jacknife through the announce table! Things calm down a bit as Morrison is stretchered to the back, and we return to an actual tag team format.

Things go from bad to worse for the face team, as Cena and Rock can’t stop bickering! Nonetheless, Cena manages to put away Masters, making it 4-4. Rock comes in and keeps the momentum going against Truth, but Cena blind tags himself in! Truth takes an AA and Cena glares at Rock instead of going for the pin. This pisses Rock off that much more, and he slaps Cena! Cena ponders for a moment, then slaps Rock back and gives him an AA! Cena walks away backstage, leaving Rock in the ring as the legal man! Truth makes a tag to Miz, who gets the pin on Rock, and suddenly Taker and HHH are alone against a four-man team!

...But that’s a dangerous pairing to back into a corner. HHH is next up. He takes some abuse from Miz, but when Miz tags out to Nash, HHH is able to turn the tables on his old buddy, hitting some strategic punches to come out on top of the Jacknife. From there, he’s able to eliminate Nash, but it’s obvious he’s not quite at 100% after the attack from a couple of weeks ago. Truth is well aware of this, and manages to wear the veteran down and eliminate him.

It’s down to Taker, Punk, and Awesome Truth, and Taker CLEANS HOUSE. All three heels take a Chokeslam, and then a Tombstone gets Truth! Miz gets a brief hope(?) spot, but soon falls prey to the Tombstone as well. It’s Undertaker and Punk, with the future of the WWE hanging in the balance! Taker gets the Tombstone on Punk, but just doesn’t have enough gas left to make the cover! Punk’s able to hit the GTS shortly thereafter, but when he goes for the pin, Taker rolls out the Hell’s Gate! Punk’s about to tap, but manages to get to the ropes! Both men can barely stand, and soon we have a carnal brawl of Punk’s kicks alternating with Taker’s strikes. Taker’s the best pure striker in the business...but....he’s old. He’s just....too old. Punk wobbles him....and is able to hit the GTS again! 1.....2........3!

Punk celebrates his glorious victory....forgetting that Morrison was never actually eliminated! Morrison comes limping out to the ring! Chuck Kick! Starship Pain! 1......2............3! Morrison has somehow done it! The WWE is saved!

FROM THE BOOKERMAN

-The monster push of Morrison saving the whole fed from Laurinitis where Cena, Rock, HHH, and Undertaker ultimately failed.....has dropped him down to upper mid. AWESOME.

-Bryan/Chavo went about as well as can be expected! I was considering turning Chavo here, but then I took a closer look at his face stats and ehhhhhhhhh.

-Laurinitis was in a segment and it didn’t suck woooooo
