NXT
Wk. 2, 12/11

Pre-show: Slater d. Dreamer, Chavo, Mordecai (70); A training montage is seen with La Parka showing Dutt the art of the chair shot (30)

-Match: Parka v. Edwards
Mordecai is faithfully barking orders the entire time, and Edwards executes them faithfully. Parka struggles, and begs Dutt to hand him a chair, but "Clean Cutt" Sonjay Dutt is not willing to be complicit in such treachery, and as a result Edwards gets an upset win.
Rating: 16
Poor chem

-Match: Dutt v. Cap'n Petey
Dutt himself fares much better as Williams continues to be kinda the jobbers' jobber.
Rating: 18

-Match: Cabana v. Abe
Comedy match! Cabana gets the win.
Rating: 14

-Match: Show and Rollins v. Barrett and Daivari
The FEUD OF THE CENTURY rolls on, and Barrett picks up the pinfall.
Rating: 63

-Show and Rollins stay in the ring, licking their wounds. Show tells Rollins he needs to lighten up a bit and not be so tense, but Rollins argues that's not his style. He apologizes to Show, but feels that this pairing really doesn't work out. Show's fun, and there's nothing wrong with that, but they just don't fit! Show looks pretty heartbroken, but assents.
Rating: 59

-Punk is out to ramble about the nWo and how great he and his buddies are. He regrets that Woods made the wrong decision last week, and he's going to show him the error of his ways tonight! Woods is out with Bryan. He's happy to be with the greatest indy wrestler in the world (Punk's eyes spark a bit) and he's not going to go along with a bunch of bullies! It's not the AMERICAN WAY!
Rating: 70

-Match: Bryan and Woods v. Punk and Masters
Woods talks a good talk, but he's the obvious weak link of the face team, and while Bryan is a beast, so is Punk, and Bryan can't manage to pick up the slack for his Rookie. Punk puts 'em both to Sleep.
Rating: 75

-The nWo swarm around the downed faces. After a short beatdown, Punk spraypaints Bryan! He rolls Woods over, and hands the spraypaint can to Colt! Cabana considers it momentarily, then drops it. He loves Punk and appreciates the spot on the show, but he just can't get behind the ideals of the nWo. They ARE a bunch of bullies, and while he's excited to be with Punk, he doesn't want to be a part of this! He leaves sadly as Punk fumes silently in the ring.
Rating: 69

Post-show: Otungacutty d. Haas/AAE (41, Otunga's new gimmick gets 87); Bryan drives off the nWo because I forgot to move this segment back a spot (83)

Overall: 64 lol angles
Colt, Dutt, Parka overused

FROM THE BOOKERMAN:

-These jobber/jobber penalties are MAKIN ME SAD. It's very difficult to get these guys over.

-I need SO MUCH MORE ANGLE TIME UGH

-Show is getting karmic retribution for dumping Jericho :(

NEWSWIRE

-Impact pulled a highly disappointing 67. Critics blamed Styles/Daniels v. Beer Money being relegated to the midcard in favor of Devon/Dinero v. Ink Inc. and the ME of Jeff Hardy v. Bully Ray falling flat.
