If you only know/like one song, shouldn't it be +3?
It's designed to penalize voters who choose to only vote for one song, and give an incentive to voters who take the time to choose 3 songs.
If you only know 1 song, then your opinion on what the band's best song is isn't worth as much. Likewise, a voter for only 2 songs only gets to use +2 and +1. So far though, nobody has chosen to vote for less than 3 songs.
Still, thanks for the input! I plan on fine-tuning the scoring system(as the need arises) and I appreciate getting feedback.
