i feel like NCAA titles in both sports have fallen into the category of home run titles and tour de france wins
even if they didnt get caught w/ violations....they probably had some serious violations
Honestly, no. Yes, U Conn in 99 was dirty as hell (this will be a common theme). BUT....
Mich St 2000 was totally clean.
dUKe 2001 was dirty, but for ref reasons, not cheating reasons.
Maryland 2002 was amazingly clean.
Cuse 2003 was clean
U Conn o4 was dirty as ****.
UNC 05 was unbelievably off color, but it was probably still clean.
06 and 07 Florida was pure luck, so if there was any cheating to get them, Billy D is an idiot.
08 KU, yes, ok, so this was just cheating after cheating after cheating, but still, so far we are only up to U Conn and Kansas.
09 UNC seems unlikely to be clean, but alot of it honestly was recruiting stupidity more than anything (Tyler Hansborough wanted to go to UK, as did 2 of his running mates, Tubby was too dumb/stubborn to recruit them).
10 dUKe was a joke, but again, taht was because of the NCAA setting it up for them, not for them cheating.
11 U Conn is the dirtiest team since 91 UNLV. But again, that is still just 2 teams....
So honestly, in college BBall at least, as long as KU or U Conn don't win (of the big dogs anyway) chances are it was clean, evne if was shady.
