It was a Republican governor that put Michigan into debt. Then a Democratic governor that couldn't get a single thing through a Republican-controlled state legislature. Now we're back to having a Republican as governor, and our credit rating dropped.
Oh, and if Obama hadn't given a loan to the auto industry, Michigan probably would've been #1 on that list by a massive margin. Not that it's much better anyway.
It didn't help that the Democratic Governor said "Screw the auto industry, we're going to become the EDUCATION STATE!"
Yeah, not a good plan.
