So I think I give up.
For over a year now I have been keeping up with pretty much every article on EqD, every day. But lately I've had to start skipping so many articles. Of course I always skipped the fanfics, but then I started skipping vocal music, nightly roundups, and some other stuff, and this past weekend I didn't have any internet so I got so behind that I can't catch up. Maybe it's because I don't have enough time to read it anymore, maybe I lost interest, maybe the site is just updating more than before, but I give up.
There really hasn't been a jump in anything but the news compared to mid season 2, but there's been a ton of news and interviews in the past couple weeks. It's mostly based around the Bronycon documentary and interviews with those involved, plus Tara Strong becoming increasingly active as the "brony queen".
I would suggest reading the nightly roundups since they're really easy to pick through for interesting stuff. Just skip the meetup stuff. I normally can get through one in 1-2 minutes and about 30%-40% of the time there's an article that is worth reading hidden in there. Personally I do comics, nightly roundups, interviews that are done by good teams and are of interesting people (such as Thiessen, Ingram, Faust, de Lancie and the VAs), instrumental music (skipping dubstep and only listening a few seconds to songs I will clearly not like), fan animations, actual news, and maybe 1-2 short comedy fics per month.
