The only Lego dudes I got from these booster pack thingies is the Viking and the Wolfman from Series... 3? I think? I bought three packs last July, haven't seen em in stores since (though I don't go to Toys R Us all THAT often, only like once or twice since then), and I got those plus a duplicate Viking which I gave to someone else.
I really would like to make it to the Lego Store some time. They have this build-a-figure station with all these big bins of various heads, torsos, legs, etc, and you can put together your own minifig out of them, though there do seem to be intended combinations.
