ah, i see. i guess i'm mostly curious about the three at the far left.
also, i am only renting this game but i am so tempted to buy the lightning DLC.
Thoughts on the game, just because:
- Despite the terrible writing and stupid treatment of time travel, I found myself way more drawn into this game and its characters than I was for XIII. Like, I really want to play XIII-3 now.
- The battle system somehow manages to feel less tedious than before without changing all that much. I enjoyed XIII's battle system a lot until I got to Gran Pulse. I dunno what it was, but something clicked at that point and the entire game started to feel like a chore. The snappier Paradigm Shifts and monster addition are nice; leveling up monsters and fusing them is more fun than it should be, considering how exactly the same most monsters seem to be.
- The music reminded me a bit of Nier at times, and at other times of Persona 3/4. There were also some pretty awesome tracks here and there. I'm a fan.
I don't know what it is about this game, but I enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed FF7-12 on their first playthroughs. I haven't been this drawn into an RPG in a long time.
OH YEAH. There's one thing I'd like cleared up:

I forget when, exactly, but there's a point where Alyssa gives Mog a creepy look as he's about to enter a gate. What was that about? I was hoping for some crazy twist with her not wanting to get erased from a changed history or something.
