I challenge you to really REALLY rethink this. I think we have the exact opposite problem, actually. We have TOO MUCH compromise. Leftists want massive spending on welfare. Neocons want tax cuts and wars. So they compromise and do both.
I challenge you to come up with the last "bipartisan" thing Congress did that was unquestionably good. Any time Congress passes any bill with sweeping bipartisan support, THAT'S when your radar should pick up and you should immediately suspect that they are up to something designed to screw over the public at large.
