18. Kaidan Alenko (Mass Effect 1/3)
Yeah, Kaidan is extremely extremely bland. Like, bland to the point where over the course of three games, I honestly can't say I have even the slightest form of attachment to him as a character. He's always just this consummate soldier and that's like, the entire personality that the writers gave him. I think he definitely suffers from being playable only in Mass Effect 1 and 3, because those are the two games that didn't really focus on character development as much as Mass Effect 2 did. I don't think it would've helped him though...he's just so goddamn bland. He doesn't even have any defining personality traits that I care enough about to mention here. The only reason he's not at the very bottom of the list is because Miranda is just THAT awful and James is even MORE pointless than Kaidan is.
