IIRC, ridiculously low amount of saves is how Balthier got screwed out of the Pirates finals.

Nah, more like the voters correctly perceived him as a threat and voted some s****y OP character over him so we could get the lamest final possible.
Lol Balthier would've been crushed by Sparrow almost as badly.
