Why is the state trying to garnish your bank account?
I owned a Napa Auto Parts, which I left in the hands of my less-than capable parents. They accrued debt in my name, which is just as good as me saying I accrued debt. I had nothing to do with actually running the store in regards to doing the books and the like, but apparently, I should have. It's all debt from my dad. I don't even know how much I owe them at this point. It really sucks. I'm using a prepaid walmart card to store my money for now.
Had the actual bank account open because I was told as long as I had no balance, California wouldn't try. But they did, and my bank charged me the legal fee to overdraw me 100 bucks.
