Not really. You blew your only save. Point blank. Nobody knew you were lurking. Someone else might've saved Squall. Hell, you even had help from catastrophy today, who never saves Squall so it's not that farfetched a concept. There's a time for faith just as there is a time for abandoning it. Around bottom ten is my time, personally. And I believe if I had saved Jecht, Tidus would have taken his place. I could not let that happen.
If you really feel that way, why lobby for a Tidus trade at the end, hmm? You insist you want to lead, then lead. Delegate responsibility, make alliances.
I tried, but the only person up for it already has other priorities.
