The Bad - Not Realizing HOW to Play Co-Op
I reserved Tales of Symphonia for the sole purpose of playing it with my friend. I even invited him and had him sleepover so that my mom could take us to Gamestop as soon as it opened and we could play it all day.
The first part went according to plan, but we hit a snag with the final part. The manual, to my knowledge, didn't explain how to set up co-op at all. The beginning of the game didn't ask for the amount of players, so our problems weren't solved then.
Once I had full control of Lloyd, I scoured the menus, and I still saw nothing that looked like it could allow my friend to play. I also did a few things during battle to see if he could get in on the action, but nothing would work.
I made it all the way to the ruins in the desert before we both decided to just give up and play something else.
The way to get co-op to work is probably very simple, but it should have been included in the manual!
