I know we're talking about TNA here, but isn't that really breaking kayfabe in a way that we haven't really seen before? Isn't that the equivalent of publicly admitting that all the storylines are fake and created by writers?
During the Immortal storyline, there was LITERALLY a segment where Hogan said, ON AIR, that how many titles you've won doesn't matter anymore, because those are given to you by the old writers and now it's time to REALLY prove yourself with him and Eric in charge. Draw money or get fired.
