FCW - July 24, 2011
We've got Matt Martlaro and William Regal again. Our main event is Calvin Raines, Big E. Langston, & Alexander Rusev vs Bo Rotundo, Leakee(EEEEEE), & Richie Steamboat. Yaaaay.
Uh, apparently Dean Martin, the dean of Florida University, is coming out. He isn't the dean, because he's giving Byron Saxton an award! lmao Byron Saxton comes out in an entire cap and gown graduation garb. That's great. The dean gives him a "Most Valuable Alumni" award. Should be Alumnus, btw. Byron is acting like a little kid since he won it. Oh god, they have Emmit Smith praising Byron Saxton in the backdrop of a fake BYRON SAXTON STADIUM. XD All the while, Byron's face is like :D. Then a teacher talks about how Byron was her favorite student with a backdrop of a classroom with a chalkboard written with "BYRON SAXTON IS A NAUGHTY BOY" on it. Byron thanks his kindergarten teacher, his cats, Mimi and Sparkles, and his neice... and then Titus O'Neil. He says that Titus should leave and never return. Titus comes out, and luckily Byron escapes by his lackeys, James Bronson (NON-CONSENSUAL ENTERTAINMENT) and Erik Rowan (I dunno). That was entertaining.
Then Husky Harris and Monty Lynch face off. I'm going to go ahead and assume that Monty Lynch loses because he has never won a match. That, and he was released. Husky looks good in this match though, with tons of power moves. He finishes it fast with the Senton.
Briley Pierce interviews Rick Victor. He's a Hart Dungeon grad... but they didn't teach him to talk on the mic, unfortunately. He rants at Seth Rollins and does some generic tough guy speak. And he will leave Seth Rollins SCARRED......... for eternity. (This was bad.)
Next up is Tito Colon (Epico, remember?) vs Dean Ambrose. It's amazing what mustache and cornrows do to make you look like a tough guy. Dean uses the Union Jack Cutter and Regal mentions he invented that move. But we all know Chavo Guerrero invented that move. After he stole it from Chris Jericho. Regal enjoys calling Dean Ambrose a nutter. lmao Ambrose selling is hilarious. Anyway, the finish comes when Dean hangs on the ropes when Tito goes for the Backstabber, and then Dean kicks him in his leg, snaps his neck off the ropes, hits a clothesline, looks freaky, then finishes it with the Emerald Frosion. Ambrose is seriously freaky looking, for real. He's just stomping around like a weirdo. He grabs a mic and then tells Seth Rollins to accept his challenge since he wants to beat him bloody and put himself in his own league.
Oh f***, Leo Kruger is back. Ugh. Leo Kruger vs Xavier Woods next. I don't care for Leo Kruger. Surprisingly, Leo doesn't do as bad as I remember him doing. Xavier Woods is superior, of course. But Leo held his own. Leo worked on the leg and Xavier fought against that. Xavier went for a schoolboy when Leo leaned back and held onto Xavier's bad leg for the pinfall. Pretty good match.
And now we have a Damien Sandow promo (w/ Briley Pierce)! YES! He shows why he's the best promo guy in FCW by talking about how he deserved to have the Florida Heavyweight Title. THANK YOU FOR YOUR IRRELEVANT OPINION. Damien Sandow gets hyped and says he will be the FCW Champion! He's intense as hell... and then when he's done, he leans back and grins arrogantly.
