Iron Man and Last Man Standing matches are, like all gimmick matches, useful if either they fit the angle or if the two have worked a bunch of regular televised matches already and need to change it up.
To expand on the former, a Last Man Standing match can be better than a regular match if the angle has built the feud up as two guys who just want to beat the ever-loving s*** out of each other until one of them is physically incapable of getting back up. It doesn't even feel like a match since there's no pinning or submitting. It's just a straight-up brawl. Iron Man matches... well, I dunno on that one. I guess it can just lend a very "epic" feel to a match to hear that they're going until the clock says to stop.
On a semi-related note, I like that they've given us two two-out-of-three falls matches this year (both featuring Daniel Bryan, no less). Two-out-of-three falls is underrated! It's just a shame this one will probably be so one-sided.
