Basic rundown: Asshole Repub sponsored a bill he never expected to be law as a political theater stunt. Hes now trying to loosen the restrictions in instances of pregancies being non-viable or a threat to the health of the mother. In what can only be described as a No shit, Sherlock moment, hes found himself in an uphill battle.

Fucker should have to be there every single time a woman dies from pregnancy complications, or have to watch the child they were forced to carry suffer and die in pain because of his reprehensible law. Trying to fix this shit now is too little too late, especially since he hasnt issued any apologies or statements of regret for the bill in the first place. Just like before this is all for optics, not out of any suddenly developed sense of empathy.
