This comic is from 2001 (I think) but it has nothing to do with the jobber-ness of Darkseid or lack thereof. Darkseid isn't the only person that gets his shit kicked in. Bat-Mite & Mxyzptlk hop across the multiverse destroying various entire continuities. Like the golden age, the silver age, post COIE, Dark Knight Returns, etc literally everything. The art style changes depending on where they go. Then it gets blown up. they kill the spectre like 6 times across different continuities lol.

They recreate everything at the end of the comic and promise to get back together next week to do it again.

I believe the comic was called worlds funniest which was a non canon one off story of the two in a game of tag across the multiverse. Mxy is crazy strong but not on the lv depicted in that story.
